Another Woodstock 5K is in the books and the men's and women's course record continue to drop. Reuben Mwei won this year's race with a 14:16 dropping the course record three more ticks. On the women's side defending champ, Janet Cherobon- Bawcom dropped the record by 26 seconds with an impressive 16:20. Adam Swann flew to victory with an economical 17:56 at Haley Team Twilight 5K on June 25. Mary Meyer held off a competive challenge from Nicolette Steet to win the women's title. Over 200 runners attended the 5th Annual Haley's Team Event. This nightime event was run under the stars and was headquartered at McClellan Park Medical Mall- 100% of the proceeds are donated to Cystic Fibrosis Medical Research at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Stephen Gamble and Nicollette Street took top honors at today's First Annual CDP Walk Run. This first year event was held at the McClellan Park Medical Mall and drew a nice crowd of 59 runners. The CDP Employee Association put on this event and made a nice donation of $1000 to Big Brothers and Big Sisters after the race. For results click here
