To join the Anniston Runners Club:
Why Join?

It’s a GOOD deal!

Members pay $20.00 for an individual membership, or $30.00 for a family membership. Memberships are on a calendar year basis, from January 1 to December 31. Students at the age of 18 and under pay $8.00.

As a member of the Anniston Runners Club, you gain a club membership to the Road Runners Club of America. As a part of this membership, you are entitled to receive Club Running Magazine.

The RRCA also provides insurance for all of our club run programs, events, and races. We host Half Naked Marathon (13.1 miles) in January, Canyon Climb 5-miler in March, Woodstock 5K in August, and the Plucked Turkey 10K in November.

Additionally, only members are eligible to participate and gain points in the ARC Fab Four Challenge series. This is a lot of fun and a way to challenge and reward yourself for your hard work and race participation. You get discounts on most local race fees. Most races cost between around $25 to run, but if you are an Anniston Runners Club member, you get a $2-$3 discount. It adds up - the average member will save over $25 in race fees alone!

Our club tries to support all levels and types of runners. We hold casual group runs, and we have divisions to appeal to whatever your interest area may be: Youth Running Division, Rookie Runners Division, Triathlon Division, Trail Running Division, and the Women’s Running Division.

And you get invited to all the club socials and special events. We hold a fantastic end of year banquet in January to recognize the ARC Fab Four Challenge series winners, 1200 Mile Club achievers, and other awards.

The Anniston Runners Club is part of a growing movement of runners who want to promote the healthy benefits of running, and our club donates to the following charitable organizations: Local high school track team grants, the YMCA of Calhoun County, and the Arc of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties.

Come run with us! Thank you for your interest!

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact one of our board members or coordinators to help you out.
