The Great Commission 5K Run

On Saturday, April 30, 2022, The Great Commission 5K Run will be held at Vivian Lee Maddox Sports Complex (4573 Rainbow Drive, Rainbow City, AL 35906) to raise money for HFC Students' summer mission trip to Andrews, North Carolina. On this trip, the students will be a part of Snowbird Missions & Outreach camp where they will spend an entire week serving the community of Andrews and being challenged to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.

REGISTRATION: You may pre-register and pay online BY APRIL 15 using the form below to receive a free t-shirt ($15 value) with your registration! You may also register and pay the day of the event, but you will NOT receive a free t-shirt. Walkers and strollers are welcome!

COST: The 5K entry fee is $25. There is no entry fee for the 1-mile Fun Run. Kids 5 and under are free with parent registration. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase at the race for $15 each.

SCHEDULE: Race day check-in and registration begins at 7:00am. The 5K Run begins at 8:00am. We'll wrap things up no later than 10:30am.

AWARDS: We will award medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall for both men and women. Medals will also be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each age division.

TIMING: This year's run will be electronically timed using timing chips. (No time cards!) Also, your time will not start until you cross the starting line, which means you will be able to physically distance yourself from other runners if you like.
