As Mental Health Services Coordinators from Anniston City Schools, Oxford City Schools, Jacksonville City Schools, Calhoun County Schools and Piedmont City Schools, we are pleased to announce our 1st Annual Children and Youth Mental Health Awareness event. The goal is to raise awareness of mental health and the issues that the students are facing in today's society, as well as, to provide an opportunity to explore community resources supporting children and families.

Our event, EmbRACE What Matters: Mental Health Matters, will be held in May on McClellen. We will host a 5k run, along with food vendors and community outreach partners. There will be family fun events with a bouncy house for children and a VIP speaker (TBD).

It would be our desire to partner with the City of Anniston to bring this most important event to our community and impact the lives of our families and children.
