What started as a Thanksgiving morning run has turned into a tradition. Come build that Thanksgiving appetite by running the 6.2 mile certified course through the beautiful Golden Springs community. This ARC event benefits the YMCA. Walkers are welcome! Come and participate as a family.
Overall male and female winners receive a turkey breast from Honey Baked Ham Company.
Overall 2nd & 3rd male and female receive a choice of yummy pies.
AGE GROUPS M/F = 9 and under, 10-19 | 20-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60-69 | 70-79 | 80+ and over.
Those registered by October 31st will be guaranteed a long sleeve t-shirt. If you cannot pick up your shirt on Wednesday or Thursday, another person is allowed to pick it up for you upon request. Others will be allocated as you register. 2026 will have early packet pick-up! Come check in from 4-7pm on Wednesday, November 25, at the ARC/NEABA HQ (26 W. 10th St, Anniston, AL). Check-in will also still be available on race morning, November 26, inside the Norwood Hodges Community Center, starting at 7am.
The course is certified and we will have chip timing, so you can utilize your result for races that require corral timing.
This Anniston Runners Club race is on a great rolling loop, 6.2 mile certified course, through the beautiful Golden Springs Community. There will be water at miles 2 and 4, as well as at the finish line. The race will start and finish in front of the Community Center. Awards will be given out as runners cross the finish line. Walkers are welcome! Participate as a family.
