Trottin’ for Taylor 5K/ 1-Mile Fun Run

 This race is to benefit Taylor Brown, a third grade student at Ranburne Elementary School. She was recently diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer, and travels to Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, GA for treatments. We are trying to raise awareness about Ewing’s Sarcoma as well as trying to raise funds to help off-set treatment costs for the Brown Family.

 All runners and walkers will receive an official race t-shirt. If supplies are exhausted on race day, additional t-shirts will be mailed two weeks after race day.

Registration:   $12 in advance (deadline January 28, 2008)

WAIVER: I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running or walking in this event including, but not limited to; falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the City of Ranburne, all race sponsors, their representatives and successors of this event from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the fore-going to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
