Race Day:  Saturday, March 15, 2008

 

Registration Fee: Free for all runners/walkers that pre-register.

                                        $5 for the day of the race.

 

T-Shirt: A minimum $10 donation.  All donations will go to a participating organization.  T-Shirts will be limited to the first 250 runners.

 

Awards: Top three male and female finishers will receive a trophy and will be exempt from winning their age category.  Awards will be given to top three male & female winners in each category and the winners of the fun run. There will also be an award for the best costumed runner.

Text Box: Course Description:  The race takes place in the beautiful, scenic city of Heflin.  Clearly marked, our 5K course will begin in the middle of town (Heflin Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) building) and will take runners past historical landmarks, make a loop around the tranquil Heflin Lake, proceed through a quiet residential area, and finish back at the recreation department.  The course is USATF Certified.  25-29                     45-49              65 & over
