Woodstock 5K / Kidstock 1K

The Anniston Runners Club (ARC) and our members invite you to our premier annual event- The Historic Woodstock 5K and Kidstock 1K!  The 2024 race has been named the RRCA STATE 5K Championship!  Woodstock is a fun, healthy, community event where more than 1200 runners and walkers come to shake their tail feathers! Go ahead and mark your calendar for August 3rd, 2024 for one of the most beloved 5K's in the NATION!

Woodstock is an exciting 5K with world class start/finish lines, our famous finish on Woodstock Avenue, and a totally groovy post-race celebration with food and fun!  IT has been over 10 YEARS since the course record has been broken by Male and Female runners. The individual with the best time for female or male that breaks the course record will receive an additional $500!  That is a potential of $1000 total for the overall winners!   For more information on awards visit the WOODSTOCK WEBPAGE

Don't forget to check out our ever-so-popular Team Challenge! Team runners have a chance to win a cash prize for the team with the most participants, fastest male, female, and coed team, as well as the fastest RRCA Co-ed Club Team.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• Friday, August 2nd:

12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Packet Pickup - Anniston High School  - Kilby house (1301 Woodstock Ave Anniston, AL 36207)

We recommend you pick up your shirt and bib on this day – Race Day is hectic and if you wait until race morning you may have to wait in long lines!

NOTE: Other participants are allowed to pick up your packet with your final confirmation email in-hand.

To make the process faster, please bring your final confirmation email printed or visible on your phone.

• Saturday, August 3rd – Race Day!

** No Race Day Registration **

6:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. – Last chance to pick up shirts and bibs
7:15 a.m. – Call to the start Line
7:30 a.m. – Woodstock 5K start! 
9:00 a.m. – Kidstock 1K Run/Walk Start
10:00 a.m. – Awards ceremony for OVERALL winners and Teams!  AGE GROUP and KIDSTOCK awards will be handed out in the courtyard after the race.  

Finisher Medals for Woodstock 5K.  Everyone who completes the 5K will get a finisher medal.  Pick yours up at the finish line.   RRCA Championship medals will be awarded to overall winners at the awards ceremony.  PLEASE REMEMBER race result print outs do not represent race award winners.  They do not account for overall and masters winners.  SO, DO NOT LEAVE if you have fourth in your age group, you may have placed.
